I go to the stars to reconnect, to be reminded that I am a part of something more vast and much greater. If my head and heart have gone askew, I find this space helps me to realign, to get my heart and head online.
On this night above, 25 Feb 2025, Mother Nature created the perfect combination of coyotes howling, ice crackling, blazing stars and aurora with sweet mild breezes. Fire and Ice! We have turned the corner. Spring and her new beginnings are on the way!
We started the month of March with LOTS of Pisces energy (the end of the zodiac). As we move further into the month, it is mixing with Aries (the beginning of the zodiac), so there may be some feelings of confusion (what's really true, old dreams crumbling) mixing with idealism and new dreams.
Now, when I say FIRE, what do you think? Hot, scorching, burning intensity, feisty, ruthlessness to name a few. Well, mid-March promises to usher this in plus so much more. Astrologically, we will experience quite the full dance card. Some extremely simplified messaging is below:
Venus with the lesson of unselfish love, retrogrades (moves backwards) in Aries then into Pisces March 1 through April 13. It's time to reconsider what you love, what you value, your finances, how you create.
Mercury with the lesson of focusing the mind, retrogrades in Aries then back into Pisces on March 14 through April 7. It's time to rethink, to reassess how you observe, how you listen and how you communicate.
The first lunar eclipse of 2025 in Virgo on the south node is March 14. The path of the eclipse is fully visible across North America. Where eclipses are visible is where they are thought to have the greatest impact. -- Great chapters closing. Great chapters opening around healthy routines, selfless service and the mystical, magical simplified essence of life. We can feel this up to 6 months after each eclipse. Eclipses relate to the moon. The moon has the lesson of responding to life and not reacting.
Spring Equinox on March 20 (always in Aries) - the beginning of the astrological calendar. Think starting over, longer days, green buds, new life and resilience.
The Solar eclipse in Aries on the north node is March 29. Again, this ushers in great chapters closing and great chapters opening. We can feel this up to 6 months after each eclipse. Eclipses relate to the moon. The moon has the lesson of responding to life and not reacting.
Neptune with the lesson of clarity of purpose, moves into Aries at the very end of the month where it will stay until late October. Neptune was last in Aries 1861 to 1875 during the American Civil War. Old dreams and illusions dissolving in Pisces moving into Aries -- new dreams filled with raw courage in the face of distress.
So. Much. Aries energy! To personify this spirit, we could imagine the pioneer, the dare devil, the warrior. Is it time to find our courage, to stand up/ speak up for ourselves? Can we temper our fear and push through? There will be combative energies and argumentativeness. As one of my favorite astrologers would say, "Aries is the life force, the will to exist." Can we make these personal or collective battles about evolution versus energy sucking confrontation? Can we take this pioneering energy and begin to co-create the new earth we want to see? Maybe we start to blaze some new trails, finding new and innovative approaches to old battles, being authentic as we problem solve.
So, if you are feeling like a warrior (Aries), but don't know what's really true (Pisces), find a way to realign, to get your heart and head online.
