New Ways of Living on the Horizon

To manifest: "...being readily perceived by the senses and especially by sight...."

It was a chilly fall evening. I had been at an art opening for a friend. By the time I left the gallery, the skies were dark, the air was brisk, and the stars were ablaze. As I quickly walked to my car, I was feeling a little down as I knew I had to leave my home away from home the next day. I had put my warm clothes, boots and camera gear in the back of the car 'just in case'. For those of us who chase celestial events, we know that we need to be 'on the ready', even if there is no forecast for a possible show. I started the car. Set the heat on high. Reached for my phone and saw the message. The northern lights were ramping up. The chase was on!

I sped to a nearby national park pit toilet to change into warm layers. Brrrrrrrr! Slung my tripods and camera gear over my back and made the trek to a place where the horizon was low and unobstructed. Once I got clear sight, I took a quick test shot. Bingo! There she was! Lady A in all her glory! Alongside the moon, the colors and pillars were pretty washed out, but always a site to behold no matter how big or small. As with most shows, the energy subsided after a short while. I hung out looking for other captures until the damp cold overtook my bones. So, I packed up and headed to my car. Drove to a roadside location close to a number of great viewing locations. I sat in my car and warmed up. I wanted to think clearly. I was by myself. It was getting late. Would there be another sub-storm? I had a big drive ahead of me the next day. Did I want to play the waiting game and get tired out?

After about 30 minutes, I made an inspired decision to drive to a special location. I found this 'beach for the locals' a few years before. I had dreams of capturing a beautiful show at this place. It reminded me of Kauai. So much Spirit energy. There was a flowing creek that would add dimension and reflection. High dunes along the northern-most horizon. What the heck! I had gone here countless times to swim, captured sunsets, clouds, rain and more, but never Lady A. But this time, there was more than a glimmer of hope as the northern lights had already shown themselves. Would there be another substorm?

I pulled up and parked. Made the long trek to my location. I'm not gonna lie. It was a little creepy. It was so late, with no one around (at least no one I could see). As soon as I set up my first tripod, found the right angle on the creek, I started to notice the northern horizon perking back up again. And within 10 minutes of arriving, THIS is what I captured! (see the above picture) A dream come true! I was yipping and hollering all by myself. I could feel the emotion rising up my throat. THIS! THIS was what I had been envisioning for over 3 years, and there it was, a dream made manifest!

I had built this intention for 3 years. I did the work. Got comfortable with this special place. I hiked it, shared it with friends, brought family there to enjoy. Visited it at all times of the day and all the different seasons. Sometimes hoping for auror or just to see the stars. And FINALLY, it was manifest!

As a Yogi, I like to think I understand the science and spirit of manifestation. On this earth plane, it takes focus as well as the ability to let go. Use the senses -- hear it, see it, taste it, touch it, feel it. But coming to an earth plane near you, get ready for manifestation 2.0. It's on the way!

In the landscape of astrology, in 2025, we have 4 of 10 planets -- the outer planets, the ones that move more slowly and make a bigger impact -- changing elements and signs in 2025, and this is a BIG DEAL.

Pluto (transformation or regeneration) has already progressed in Aquarius (an air sign) for the next 20 years. Neptune (spiritual inspiration) will make a move into Aries (a fire sign) on March 31st. Saturn (self-discipline) will also bust a move into Aries on May 26th. And Uranus (learning to break old patterns) will slide into Gemini July 8th.

From water and earth signs (sensitive and grounded) to air and fire signs (fast and furious). Buckle up because things are about to get really FAST!

Ideation (thinking a new thought), information, technology, novel solutions, innovations. It promises to be head spinning! So, grounding practices, slowing down intentionally, taking a time out, will all be useful tools as the information age takes off.

Neptune, Uranus and Saturn will each return to their earth or water sign by early to late fall. But then in 2026, it full speed ahead! Once they temporarily return to water and earth signs later in the year, take a breath, take a pause and notice the shift.

So, yes, my patience paid off for this dream, but get ready for a new speed with idea to manifestation. And remember to be careful with that loaded bb gun!
